Our Bitmaker grads are back with a brand new podcast series, so listen up!
Kim Yee and Brian Han will be your hosts - talking about life after Bitmaker, working in the tech world, launching your own product/ company, and everything startups, tech, and dev. Kim and Brian are both recent Bitmaker Labs grads, having left our nest this past October.
Ryan Racioppo joins Kim and Brian as a special guest in this episode of Beyond Bitmaker. Ryan is also a grad, now on the Bitcoin grind after turning his idea into a real startup. He actually just launched his Bitmaker Labs course final project as the real deal this past Sunday. He's even making money! For any DotA fans out there, if you have Bitcoins, you can bet on gaming tournaments with your ever fluctuating and inflated currency through Ryan's startup Roshpit. Tune in as he talks about his final project turned business, Roshpit.ca.
Kim + 2 other lady Bitmakers made their way down to RubyConf in Miami, as well as San Francisco for a post grad trip. All three were blown away by the tech community in the west coast and came back more motivated and inspired than ever. She said it was #awesome, but you should hear it straight from her.
As a programmer, Brian likes problem solving and constant self-improvement. During this episode of Beyond Bitmaker he talks about going back to basics with ruby and object oriented programming. He says exercising the fundamentals helps you take on bigger concepts later on.
